Their Elite powerlifting totals are fairly respectable in my opinion. 275+ is 1740 pounds, a 700 deadlift, 500 bench and 662 squat. And those are 100% raw.

Yeah I saw that as well, the squat is without wraps! My knees hurt just thinking about that. I think they are more than respectable. Problem is, if they do it by top % of people lifting in that class, the 220-275 class will always be hard. Typically more people lift in those classes than light weight classes. I can do the total fine, but diff couldnt pull 700 raw. 500 bench would be a 3rd attempt. Squat is easy with wraps, not sure what I could do without. I have not been over 435 without wraps in 10years. There is a reason why I am a gear whore
Typically BTB they have the curl at pretty much every meet/Fed. Its just a way for the fed to pick up a few extra bucks. Kind of like the benchpress for reps as well.
