I think its safe to say, that from one product to another (like brands of food or other drinks), they are not the same. It can be different quality, price, and the tastes can be different though they may be the same flavor. Likewise, there are some cheaper brands that may be cheaper and taste good. Just have to shop around and experiment some. I use a whey protein but sparingly, I prefer hard food items for protein.
