I have taken up to 10g of vit c in one day for weeks at a time. No bad sides other than my wallet got thinner lol. Right now I'm takin 6g a day, been doing that for about 4 months now. Though I will say I know of very rare cases where people get itchy breakouts on there skin from too much Vit C. Just like anything else, you got to assure your tolerence.
