I'm about to start Porterhouse Blue, a farce comedy by Tom Sharpe. I love his work. Riotious Assembly, Blott on the Landscape and the Wilt series are comedy gold.
I have just bought War & Peace and Crime & Punishment so hopefully I'll get a chance to read them soon.
