I love it. I am a big night eater so this is right up my alley. It also gives me more energy during the day. I found I do need some protein and BCAAs during the day to main lean muscle mass. Some people won't.
The trick is to make sure you aren't undereating. If that's not an issue this should work very well.
I always lift on an empty stomach. It's never hindered me one bit.
