If I end up reliant on a P/W to do my best and it helps me grow I'm all for it. I as a Bodybuilder care about growth. The weight I lift is irrelevant as long as the weight and way I lift it simulates growth.
I never seen them stop a BBing show and ask a person to perform a lift.
If your a power lifter or endurance athlete use common sense to make sure you can make a lift at a meet or maintain long term energy.
If you are a recreational lifter, again use common sense.
