Some research often cited at Westside is that you won't get stronger or faster on an exercise after 3 consecutive weeks. What do you do then? You switch exercise, and keep breaking PRs every week.
There are many variations on the bench press, with bands, with chains, with boards, off pins, reverse bands, weight releasers, with Slingshot, floor press, DB press, incline press, decline press, shirted bench, fat bar, football bar, close grip, wide grip, ...
...you should never run out of ways to hit PRs. That's the Westside approach anyway.
