It has its place but I feel narrow grip bench press (not too close not too wide, if you stick your arms directly in front of your delts like doing a zombie walk) is much more beneficial for working the triceps, so I would say save the board presses for when you want to handle heavy weight in prep with getting the CNS ready for a big lift 3-5 weeks out. Ideally I used to do them for 3 weeks out of every 12-15 week training cycle, or 1-2weeks out of a smaller 3-6 week cycle.
