When I compete, I have to pause the bar on my chest. There is no time for it, the bar simply has to be completely still on your chest and stay there until you get the press command.

So you aren't on your tows, but rather slid your feet away from the torso a bit?
Thanks Steve. So the difference on my set up is that in previous sessions I've been setting my arms on the bar, then pushing my feet under me and arch that way. Yesterday I set up further back under the bar and then set my feet on toes before sliding them forward to go flat. If that makes sense?
