I think both can be difficult. Some people struggle with eating habits and it's can be a real challenge going from overweight or obese to normal weight. IMO though I think it harder to get into contest shape. It is just mentally and physically draining. To me the last 5-6 weeks were very difficult. You have no energy and your not getting very much food. Half the time I didnt even want to get out of the bed haha. But you still have workouts and cardio to do as well. The post contest meal makes it worth it though
