I have a lot of personal experience with some of the top names in the sport. Many of them have no clue how strong they are. I constantly hear things from them like:

--I don't lift heavy anymore.
--I'm not as strong as a powerlifter.

For example, Mr. North Carolina Joe Ohrablo did dumbbell bench presses using 150s x 6 reps. I only got 2 or 3. He also deadlifts close to 600.

Here is a video of Doug Miller doing 405 x30 on deadlifts. I talked to him about it via phone once and he was surprised at how popular this video became.
