But today I found proof that there is a hope for the future and not all kids are idiots, mindlessly playing video games and trying to be "cooler" than the next guy. It also proves that my son is the sweetest and dorkiest kid alive
We dropped my son off early to school for band practice. On his way to the band room, walking by himself, he noticed that the custodian was raising the flag on the flag pole. He set everything down on the ground and saluted the flag as it was being raised. Boy Scout training at its finest.
