In my estimation, I'd go with Starting Strength if I were you. You're a good guy with a lot of potential, but I think you would do well with a very long run on some basic lifts in a linear progression. This will serve to lay a solid foundation for more complex and specialized routines down the road. That's what I did. I spent a good year and a half on madcow/starting strength type routines. They taught me how to squat, deadlift, and most of all, respect the iron. The complex and/or specialized routines are fine once you've built a solid foundation. In fact, I think those types of routines are enhanced by the solid foundation you build from simple routines based on linear progression.
