I find that when I think about lifting the bar up it makes it tough to keep my back arched, however when I think about leaning back into my heals as I pull it makes it much easier to keep my chest more upright and back arched, or at least flat.

You're going to have to exagerate it for a while with some lighter sets to ingrain the positions.
