I usually rest as necessary. It's more of an instinctual process. Quite honestly I expect the squats to be the hardest.
I have been doing 10-20 deadlifts singles with 405+ the entire year. I expect the goal of a single set of 405x20 to be more of a challenge of grip strength. Pretty much the same with overhead presses and bench. My strength is there...just never stuck with this form of progression.
I honestly don't know what to expect from the push for extended rep sets. I do know that they will have to be the focus, and assistance work will have to be done wisely.
