Good post!
Be the filtering system:
Number 1.
Choose what you will absorb in what you read, see, and hear.
Turn negative emotions and talk from other people into "form" of personal motivation instead of falling victim to it----
make it the victim.
Number 2.
Decide who you are. Become comfortable within your own skin. Know within your heart, what you want, how your are going to get it, and what your going to do after you earn it.
Your Inner Critic:
Allot of people "talk", cannot "walk the walk", but still "open their mouth and squawk", while one is "walking the walk."
Be the "war hawk and balk" at one who "doesn't know the walk" but is still all "talk".
It is their mistake of verbalizing an outward act of "improper" negativity, and
if you silence your inner critic, and apply Number 1, the person falls victim instead of you. BE CONFIDENT AND EDUCATED IN YOUR PATH.
You cannot control everything that happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change and you will know the difference between healthy beneficial criticism and stupid banter rather than allowing it to master you. Change the attitude toward the things you view, and the things you view will change.
It always begins within.
Motivation comes within, and is subjective to the variables of the persona of the individual. Some very intelligent persons have studied motivation, and to this very day, they have yet to design a book that would fit everyone.
You have to write the book yourself. Stirring up the heart is always in the growing season.
You just have to give it a reason to be in the growing season.
