I personally don't do high reps on warmups, but to each his own. I do enough to warmup the area, and make sure there are no lingering tweaks or muscle issues. basically, I do it to fire up the engines, and make sure nothing is broken.

i never understood the idea of high rep warm ups, to me it feels better to do low rep ones with heavier weights because
1.) it prepares the muscle and gets everything ready to move
2.) no significant pump so i wont cramp up mid set
3.) there is less fatigue caused
