EDIT: to clarify, I've only started standing alternating DB curls recently, by comparison. I used to sit and do 1 arm at a time. If what I'm doing is less productive, I will return to the seated and/or isolated curling I was doing...
I want to get this right. I only started alternating because I felt my increase in stamina demanded it!
Looked fine to me.

I am a big fan of alternating curls. That's really the only way I do dumbbells. I never cared for both arms at the same time.

I have performed seated and standing curls. Whatever feels good for you.
