He doesn't look far off from natural, but I personally do not think he was.
But to those looking for practice and tips, take the time to youtube different routines from the pros and "good" posers. Watch these videos over and over and actually practice them yourself, anybody can get on stage and pose like a robot, it takes practice to flow like Ed.
