All I can say is that facing the "fear" head on has worked, along with focusing on form cues instead of weightload, right before the lift. Lifting heavy 2X per week has allowed me to face the issue head on, not allowing for any light days.

Anyway, I am really happy to see your excitement about your squats rejuvenated.
That's some pretty good advise Jim. Thanks man.

Default 6/24/12

Bench
5x125,155
3x190
5x235
3x265
290x3 (Goal 295x1)

DB Bench
70x10x4

Kroc Rows
45x8, 65x8, 85x20

Cable Pushdowns (straight bar)
120x20x4

BB Curls
70x10,10,8

Cable Machine Rotator Exercise thing 15x12x3

Face Pulls (cable machine, rope)
45x15x3

Overall Workout Grade: A

Notes:
I left the gym feeling great after this session. I killed it.

Was supposed to put 295 on the bar for my last working bench set, but in my excitement I only put 290. I chalk this up to taking a pre workout stim for the first time in 2 or 3 weeks. I was going!!!!
Anyway, nailed 290 for 3, I'll take it.
This was one of those days were the bench press just felt easy. I like when lifts go that way.

DB Bench was butter. Nice controlled full ROM. Good pump, I'll take it.

Kicked up the Kroc rows by 5 lbs. I've been letting my left side set the "pace" as my left hand grip is weaker. Felt great when I was done.

Did the cable pushdowns with shortened rest times. The burn/pump is brutal. I really felt it.

Shoulder is still feeling good I chalk this up to the rotator and rear delt work.
Still no PRs(although as I sit here and think about I'm sure the Kroc Rows are a pr), but I can't ask for sessions much better than this.

Was supposed to squat today and then start a very welcomed deload week, but my knee is giving me issues. It's the inside towards front (but still on the side) of my right knee. I need to do some googling, but I'm pretty sure there is a tendon there. Doesn't seem that bad, just a little strained.
And, I may be dense at times, but I'm not about to do heavy squats with a strained knee. Call me a wuss, call me what you want, but that isn't a risk I want to take. If it feels better tomorrow I'll try to get the session in, if not, I'll probably just write it off.

Well, deads are back on track, bench feeling easy - I was gonna say let the good times roll until I saw the part about your knee. I would call you smart to look after it first instead of making it worse. The squat rack will always be there waiting patiently for you. If home TLC doesn't help, will you be seing a doc and/or physio?

Thanks Jim. I appreciate the encouragement.
About the knee, I will give it a couple more days, if it doesn't improve and/or worsens, I will see my doctor.
This morning it is just as bad as yesterday, but with more swelling. And to be honest I was pretty confident that I would have some sort of improvement after a good night's sleep.
I will use R.I.C.E when I am not at work and am still hoping it will improve with out a visit to the doc.

Also, after some googling, I believe it is my MCL or my Meniscus.
