A 425 deadlift is still great work while on Smolov. I wouldn't worry too much about it and would even consider some percentage work just to keep you honest. Maybe a 3x3 @ 70% or something like that. You did some high rep sets there, Smolov will not be kind

thanks Jim ... as such we are already doing a lot for lower back and legs in Smolov ... so DLs actually should be avoided otherwise it will directly affect your next squat session if you don't recover. But I think it is ok to do it once in a while like once every 10-12 days.

Was supposed to do 415*03(R)*10 sets. Out of breath by 8th set . Took rest of 10 minutes and completed 30 reps.

Phase 2 of Smolov completed. Time to check new 1RM after 3 days ...
