Use that Dan John philosophy and do them every day (or not). I would like a series of 1's myself, but lack the proper motivation.

Saturday, 5/12/12

I have a couple of matters to tend to today and tomorrow, so rather than blow things off until Monday, I hit the gym bright and early (before 7:30 a.m.). Quite a departure for ol' big val.

Workout 1.2.3

Deadlift

Then for the heck of it I tried the
Rippetoe Power Shrugs
135x5

315x5
405x1 (actually, this rep was more of a partial deadlift than it was a power shrug)

I kinda like the power shrugs. I may keep them in for now. We'll see. The lousy excuse my gym has for a power rack won't let me set the bars up any lower, so my ROM is limited. I'll try it again in a week or so.
