Thanks, J_Byrd. Felt real strong that day. My focus this cycle is on singles, but once each cycle I like to rep out just to keep rep ranges honest. I try to do enough reps to push my theoretical 1RM beyond where it actually is.

Workout 2.3.1

I Hate When this Happens!!!

Went in tonight to do squats. My target set for singles was 5 pounds shy of my tested 1RM. I had planned to hit 300 for a couple singles, the depending on how it felt, go for 305, thus tying my PR. It didn't go as planned, but, like so many episodes of Little House on the Prairie, it all worked out in the end.

I hate when this happens. The plan here was to do a couple of singles at 300, then add 5 and tie my PR. Well, due to a massive brain fart (and a gorgeous brunette in tight shorts and a sports bra), I realized afterwards that it was only 290.
