Back off sets look solid. Benching in general is strong. You thought at all about getting something like adjustable saw horses to catch the weight?

Haven't looked into anything like that BTB. I'll have to check to out.
9/24/2012
Deadlift and Push press
Deads
135x5
185x5
225x5
275x3
315x3
345x5 - beltless-been training all lifts beltless to get core stronger

Push press
65x5
80x5
95x5
115x3
130x3
145x7

Went well. Need to get motivated again so I don't skip lift days and then later have to combine them. I need to focus full session to 1 lift and corresponding assistance work.

Didn't realize it had been so long since I logged. I failed to log my bench day from Oct 2
10/2/2012
Bench press - rough day on the bench, thought it was my best triple but I got 235 for 4 reps a few weeks ago
185x5
205x3
230x3

back off bench 20 rep goal
210x6,5,5 (16) stay here next session

10/8/2012
Deadlift - beltless
290x5
325x3
365x4 - PR best beltless lift

BB Rows 30 rep goal
155x12,10,9 (31) - move up 10 pounds

BB shrugs with straps 30 rep goal
315x10,10,9 (29) - just wasn't there, it'll be done next time

10/9/2012
Push press
150x8 - rep PR, then decided to go for singles for the first time on this lift!
165x1
175x1
185x1 - easily a PR!
195x0 - wasn't really close

Close grip bench press 20 rep goal
190x6,6,6 - stay here, will get it next time

Very excited with the heavy single on push press! Especially with how sore my lower back and traps are from yesterday. I thought that would be huge limiter today but wasn't at all.

Deload complete. Another 1 month cycle of 5/3/1 finished. This cycle I will be doing it with the powerlifting emphasis, where there are some heavy singles every other week.

10/15/2012
Squat - no belt, no wraps
warm up
230x3
275x3
300x3
285x1
310x1

All felt good. I get really sore in the front part of my groin area after my heavy sets. Not sure why. Don't think it's an issue but not positive. Good squat sets all in all.

It was kind of apples to oranges if I wanted to compare the previous cycles to this last one because i went completely raw, no belt and no wraps, this cycle. I knew my dead and squat would drop and they did here are the numbers.

Squat - previous cycle with wraps and belt was 345x3. No wrap or belt was 320x2. Down 40 lbs.
Bench - previous cycle was 250x1, last cycle was 230x3. Basically stayed.
Deadlift - previous cycle with belt was 375x4, last cycle no belt was 365x4. Down about 10 lbs.
Push press - previous cycle was 160x4, last cycle was 150x7. Up about 10 lbs.
