I disagree with IW. You dont want to breath in an max effort movement. Keep the air tight into your stomach. Take a deep breath at the top, try to foce it down into the bottom of your stomach, and hold it there untill the rep is complete. Same with the bench and deadlift as well. Letting the air out will make you lose your ability to stay tight.

I actually did that last night. Made a conscious effort to take a huge breath and hold it in until I stood back up. It seemed to help quite a bit.
