ME Squat Day

I threw a new lift into the rotation tonight, squats with a red band and 2 chains.Chains with bands on the bar are tough, you get the overspeeds from the band pulling you down but then have to battle a couple chains on the way back up. I hit alot of sets tonight and then did split squats, still easing back into these as my hip flexors take a pounding if I go heavy. I then did banded GMs to fluch a bunch of blood into the ole PC. Good day.

ME Squat Day 28/3/12

1x1 120kg
1x1 127.5kg
1x1 135kg
1x1 125kg
5x2 80kg
7x2 82.5kg

Speed got better the more sets I did.

DB Split Squat

1x10 10kg ea
2x10 22.5kg ea
1x10 25kg ea

Black band GMs

2x20

Interesting variation. Sounds intense. Great volume work.

ME Squat Day

I tested my squat today, it went ok but I stopped at 170kg, I had some issues racking the bar on my back and it made it feel heavy as ****. As usual I didnt sort it out until my lighter sets LOL but when I did it felt great. I hit a few rep PRs but who cares ist the singles I am after! Regardless it was an ok day but could have gone better! I finished with GMs and abs, man I was tired after having the bar on my back for that long.

ME Squat Day 31/3/12

Squat

1x1 140kg
1x1150kg
1x1160kg
1x1 167.5kg
1x1 170kg
1x5 145kg (PR)
1x4 150kg (PR)
1x1 157.5kg
6x3 110kg (sorting bar position etc)

GMs

4x8 to 102.5kg

Abs

3 sets
