Bench/Squat Day

Tonight I benched 5s, I used 100kg (2 wheels) for 7 sets across, I was pretty happy with that effort. I then did SSB squats with a mini and 4 chains to a max, hips were tight tonight and didnít feel like squatting, but I made them anyway. I broke a record there and then hit some speed work, which I supersetted with rows. Solid night of benching, squats were ok despite being tight.

Bench/Squat Day

Today I benched 10 triples with 105kg, this was tough but manageable. I then did pin squats or bottom position squats from pin 28.These were like a squat/GM hybrid but the did 2 good things. 1- they are right smack bang where I stick in the squat, I fire out the hole fast but get stuck about 4 inches up, and 2 Ė they blew my hammies up a treat!. I maxed on these and then did backoffs for 5s. I finished by hitting some speed squats.

ME Squat Day

I squatted with the orange band and 2 chains, stomped a PR there and then hit speed work. I then pulled for speed against minis for triples. Solid night of lifting.

ME Squat Day

Today I did close stance paused squats with 3 chains, I worked up to a max of 148.5kg for a PR. I then dropped down to 90% for 6 singles with short rests. I then took off the belt and repped out for a few sets. I then hit some RDLs off pin 44, working up to a heavy set of 8 over 5-6 sets. I finished by hitting heavy abs and callin it a day. Solid lifting although I was feeling a bit worn out, its hayfever season over here and I usually get it bad at the start.

Bench/Squat Day

Today I benched for sets of 7, I hit around 5 sets with 97.5kg. I then went to work squatting with the SSB a red band and 2 chains. I worked up there and destroyed a PR and then backed off for speed work. I supersetted the first 5 sets with band GMs for the glutes n hams, this was brutal. I then added all my chains and did 5 more sets. Very good days lifting. Side note I have been really working hard on some of my mobility issues, last night I did a tonne of work for my rh side hip capsule and it paid off I was able to get to depth very quickly and pain free, my squats were twice as explosive.
