DE Bench/Me Squat Day

Today was speed bench with straight weight, I used 65kg for 6 sets of 5, close and med grips. I then went out to comp grip for 6 heavier triples, these were still easy even with short rests. I then hit DB floor presses for about 5 sets to failure, some flat presses and then tricep pushdowns. Upperbody is filling out nicely now from all the BB stuff. I finished by squatting with the SSB and 3 chains up to a new record of 143.5kg. Backoffs were speed sets with 15 secs rest betweeen sets.I was soaked in sweat after this. Great workout.

Bench Close and Med Grips

Comp Grip Paused

3x3 92.5kg 20 secs rest
3x3 95kg 20 secs rest

Hammer Grip DB Floor Press

3x18,15,14 26kg ea

Flat Press

2x15,14 26kg

Tricep Pushdowns

3x15-20

SSB Squat + 3 Chains

1x2 110kg
1x1 125kg
1x1 135kg
1x1 143.5kg (PR)
8x2 80kg 15 secs rest
8x2 85kg 15 secs rest

ME Squat Day

Squatted with the orange band today, worked up to a new PR of 150kg of bar weight. Pretty happy with that a good strong lift. I then dropped down and did triples with short rests. Finished with close stanced paused squats again, really digging these currently.

ME Squat Day 8/5/12

Squat + Orange Band

1x2 110kg
1x1 125kg
1x1 140kg
1x1 150kg (PR)
3x3 110kg
3x3 115kg
1x5 125kg

Add Close Stance and Pause

1x10 60kg
1x8 80kg
1x5 90kg

Tanked, trained at night and very tired.
