Na you never asked mate

Squat everyday To a max single then hit backoffs for lots of volume at about 50-100% of max. Rotate in special bars and change the contrast (bands n chains) daily. It rolls together nicely as you are doing the same lift daily but differently, the motor pattern is the same but you donít burn out by only doing straight weight. One lift variant builds another which builds another and so on like that. It works wonderfully well for squats.

Its just Louies Max effort method done daily

I gotcha. Makes sense.

I train heavy 3x a week. Thought about doing more, but if I did variations would make more sense like this.

Yeah I reckon its pretty good. I was in gear last year and took it off after some injuries finally cleared and my raw wrapped squat was barely 140kg and high. I seriously nearly missed it.My best to date is 181.5kg. I started doing this on and off and its probably made the most difference to my squat.

I have squatted straight weight only for weeks on end but the closest I got to old PRs was about 165kg (so about 15kg down). I just seem to regress when I dont rotate my special exercises.

ME Squat Day

I had a great squat workout tonight with a red band and 2 chains. I worked up to a new record of 136kg which was strong. I then did a few triples heavy and backed off for speed work. I finished with abs and pullthrus. Good day.
