Don't worry about just come bach a get that squat. Smart idea waiting to add weight to chinups, I wish I had done something like that because I can do really heavy singles with chins but rep work is really hard for me.

Thursday, 4-12-12
Deadlift 3x5, 245, 335, 365
Squat 1x20, 200 (15).
OH Press 150 (7,7,6). 20 rep goal met.
Calf Raise 3x8, 90(15), 155(9), 170
Cble Crunch 3x10-15, 20(15), 20(15), 21

Got my DL repsl, but my back started to round on the last 2 reps, so I'll do 365 again next week, shooting for better form.

Just as I didn't have the gas to do squats on monday, I didn't have the gas to do 20 rep squats today. It sucked. I got 15 reps and felt like I couldn't breath. I think I have figured out why though--I have been doing cardio in the mornings during the week (workout at noon). I'll bet my legs are tired from cardio, so I'll switch to a walk on those mornings.

FINALLY--got my OH Press 20 rep goal, after 3 weeks of stagnation.

Incline bench felt heavier than expected, but I'll hit the 20 rep goal next week. Thrilled about hitting the pullups.

Monday, 4-16-12
Squat 270 (6,4).
Calf Raise 3x8, 260, 280, 295(7)
Cleans 5x3, 150.
Weighted Situps 3x10, 60(15), 70(15), 70
Side Bends 3x8, 45 (15)

HELP!. Something is definitely wrong with my squat. I'm not sure what it is. 2 weeks ago, I got my 20 rep goal at 265 without a ton of trouble. For some reason, I can't get 7 reps of 270 to save my life. I am out of gas just a few reps into the 2nd set and I end up leaning forward too much. My left knee is also starting to hurt. I'm thinking of dropping down 20 or 30 pounds and focusing on a wider stance (the better to stay upright) and form. Maybe even switching it up to front squats or even goblet squats. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Much better technique on cleans this week and it made all the difference.
