Week 29, Thursday, 9-20-12
Deadlift, 5 reps, 240, 330, 370.
F.Squat, 140(7), 190(5), wave one 225(3), wave two 235(3), wave three 240(1).
Calf raise: 8 reps, 145, 170, 190.

Deadlift: Form still not perfect on the last rep. I'll try it one more time.

F.Squat - Instead of trying 235 on the last wave, I jumped straight to it on the 2nd wave and I got it. These reps still aren't great, as I think I'm leaning forward a bit when I come out of the hole. But, that is what I like about front squats--if you lean forward too far, you lose the bar.

Week 29, Friday, 9-21-12
BbRow, 185(9,9,7). 25RG met again. Time to move up.
IncDbBench, 95(10,9,7). 25RG met. If I can hit 27 reps next week, I'l move up.
Pullups, BW+15 (9,8,7). 25RG missed. 5th attempt. Same as last week.
OH Press 140 (9,9,7). 25RG met. If i hit it next week, I'll move up.

Definitely making progress on rows, incline bench and OHP.

I have that issue with front squats too. I've never been great at them.

Good Friday workout. Some solid progress.

Week 30, Monday, 9-24-12
Squats (heels on a board), 230 (9,9,7). Pretty steady.
Calf Raise 8 reps, 300, 310, 320
Leg Press, 400(8), 600(8), 690(5)
W.Situps, 70 pounds, crunches, 3x15.

Just didn't have time for hipulls or hangcleans.

Week 30, Tuesday, 9-25-12
Bench, 290(1), 275(2), 260(3), 250(4), 240(5). New 1rep PR.
DbRow 95 (12,10). 1st attempt.
Dips BW+75(10,7).
Chinups BW+15(7,6).

I only did 2 sets of rows, dips and chins b/c I ran out of time. Bench took up too much time today. Work is picking up, so I've had to cut my lunch time shorter than usual and that will probably continue. I've got to manage my time better.

Bodyweight: 193.7.

Deadlift, 5 reps, 240, 330, 370(4).
F.Squat, 140(7), 190(5), wave one 225(3), wave two 235(3).
Calf raise: 8 reps, 145, 170, 190.

Deadlift: Couldn't get the 5th rep. I can't keep my back tight for the 5th rep.

F.Squat: I am still bending forward too much. I didn't attempt the last wave b/c I ran out of time. I don't think my stance is wide enough and that is contributing to the bend. I'll lower the weight and focus on straight up-down form.

Week 29, Friday, 9-28-12
BbRow, 190(9,8,7). 25RG missed. First attempt.
IncDbBench, 95(10,9,8). 25RG met for 2nd time. Time to move up.
Pullups, BW+15 (9,7,6). 25RG missed. 2 less than last week. 6th attempt.
OH Press 140 (9,8,7). 25RG missed. 1 less than last week. 5th attmept.

Pleased with the progress on rows, but it seems that my progress on rows is costing me progress on pullups and chinups. I'm almost there on OHP.

At least the big lifts are moving up. Hopefully the chins and pulls get back up to speed.

Squats (heels on a board), 235 (9,9,7). Pretty smooth.
Calf Raise 8 reps, 305, 315, 325
Leg Press, 600(8), 690(6)
W.Situps, 70 pounds, crunches, 3x15.

Squats: I am getting a lower back pump that is kinda painful. It's making it hard to stand up straight. I think I may be going too low--curling my tail under me. I'll shorten the drop a little and see how I feel.

Week 31, Tuesday, 10-2-12
Bench, 290(1), 275(2), 260(3), 250(5). 2nd time making 290.
DbRow 95 (14,11,9). Getting much tougher to get the reps in.
Dips BW+75(9,7), BW(11).
Chinups BW+15(9,7,5).


Bodyweight: 194.6.
