Week 28, Monday, 9-10-12
Squats (heels on a board), 225 (9,9,7).
HiPulls 115, 8x3.
Calf Raise 8 reps, 295, 305, 315(7)
W.Situps, 70 pounds, crunches, 3x15.
Hangcleans, 135 (5,6,5).

HiPulls--I still don't think I'm doing them right. I'll have to keep reading up on them.

Week 28, Tuesday, 9-11-12
Bench, 285(1), 270(2), 255(3), 240(5), 230(6).
DbRow 90 (15,13,11). 2 more than last week.
Dips BW+75(10,8,7). 25RG met. If I get it again next week, I'll move up.
Chinups BW+15(8,6,6)).25RG missed. 1 more than last wk, 3 less than my best.

Rows - Thrilled with the progress I've made. Close to moving up to 95's.

Chinups - I seem to lack the endurance for chins. My rows keep going up, so something is working for my back and arms, but chins have stagnated again. I am thinking about adding a 4th set of chins, just to get in more reps.

Deadlift: All the reps were great form until the last rep. I'll redo 370 until I get them all perfect.

Pullups, BW+15 (9,8,7). 25RG missed. 4th attempt. Same as last week
OH Press 140 (10,7,7). 25RG missed. 3rd attempt. Same reps as last week.

Solid effort day in and day out. Taken any body measurements lately to see if you're seeing any noticeable size increases?

i probably should b taking measurements but i generally just watch how my clothes fit to see if I'm gaining size. The legs of my pants n shorts are definitely tighter as is the shoulders of my shirts. For the first time I have had to buy extra large shirts and they actually fit. I may start taking measurements anyway fruit a more accurate way to track things.

Sounds like things are heading in the right direction. Always curious to see if guys are pushing 16 inch arms or 26 inch legs.

That's decent. The next inch will make a big difference, especially on the arms.

Week 29, Monday, 9-17-12
Squats (heels on a board), 225 (9,9,7).
HiPulls 95, 8x3.
Calf Raise 8 reps, 295, 305, 315
Leg Press, 400(8), 600(8), 690(5)
W.Situps, 70 pounds, crunches, 3x15.
Hangcleans, 135 (6,6,6).

Squats--same as last week. I feel I've got better control of the bar. Time to move up.

HiPulls--I'm still trying them, but I can't get the technique down. Sadly no one in my gym has any first-hand knowledge of the lift and the few trainers I asked about it, showed me how to do an upright row (yes, really).

Week 29, Tuesday, 9-18-12
Bench, 285(1), 270(2), 255(3), 240(5), 230(6). Same as last week.
DbRow 90 (15,15). Time to move up.
Dips BW+75(10,8,6). 25RG missed. 1 less than last week.
Chinups BW+15(7,6,6,5). 25RG missed.

I think the heavy rows are costing me on chinups. I'll take that trade-off every day! If a year ago, you'd told I'd be doing standing DB rows with 95 pounders, I'd have laughed in your face.

Maybe I can make a high pull video this week. Might not be a bad idea.
