Any plans for competition soon? I reckon you could really put a dent in at a PL Meet.

Its funny how it works out. Big part, I think, of making the quote a reality is making yourself fearless. Mentality is a big killer, harp on feeling like crap and you perform like crap - "I got 4 hours of sleep no way will I hit a PR... I can't because of this or that." Appreciate it Fazc. I'll run the idea through my head from time to time, but don't see it happening in the near future. For now, unfortunately, I just don't have enough interest in it. I'm still open to it though... we'll see...

Good session for clean/push presses. Felt strong, fast, and this is the first time I believe my daily was anything over 225/230 on the middle of the week session... usually there's a huge drop in strength.

Squats weren't the best. 405 Felt like pretty bad and I should have just hit my minimum of 425. 435 was the longest grind I've ever put in... lift took about 5 seconds to complete and pretty much destroyed any hopes of a decent number of down sets; it didn't look bad, just sloowwww. The two "light" triples were brutal.

Attempted to get 50 pull ups in 5 minutes with sets of 10... close but no cigar.

Just glad you didn't strain anything on that rep. Those are usually the ones that leave me damaged.
