Appreciate it guys.

3 - 8 - 12

Clean
-5x1x205 Hang
-5x1x225 Hang
-3x1x240 Hang
-3x3x205 Full

Bench Press
-1x245
-1x255
-1x265
-3x5x220

Front Squat
-1x345
-1x365
-2x3x315
-3x2x330

DB Row
-4x10x70

Decent day. Hang cleans were a little slow, but working that little pattern really feed into the full cleans at 205. A low weight but technique came together rather well. Benching felt heavy but moved fast. Front squats were fine.

Wow! They saw a 1.5xBW press is an incredible feat and you're almost there (your current press is amazing enough), just 12.5 pounds by my dodgy calculations. Great work on all else too

240 from hang is strong! My grip usually fails around 220

Shoulders felt great after benching yesterday, but woke up with my left shoulder inflamed and extremely immobile. Looks like I'll be ditching the bench once again. Don't really care though... just means more overhead work.

Thanks Kuyt. Shooting for a 300 clean & push press by the end of the year. 50lbs will be very hard to put on in 7 months, but we'll see!

Appreciate it Swede. Grip is probably my biggest issue. Even with a hook grip, yesterday's hang cleans were slow and hesitant because I could feel my grip slipping. Bailed on two attempts at 240 because of it.

Clean & Push Pressing from Tuesday...

3 - 9 - 12

Hang Snatch
-5x3x135
-3x3x155
-5x1x165

Squat
-3x5x225

Pull Up
-5x5xbw

A decent day I suppose. Quick and pretty easy. Snatches focused on getting under the bar and I also messed around with grip. Wide grip where the bar sits in the hip crease allowed for great ease in getting under the bar and I also didn't have to pull the bar as high. That grip however will be impossible for me to hold without straps, forget about a hook grip, I can't even get any of my fingers completely around the bar. The other grip, about thumbs length outside power ring (power bar) allows for a stronger lockout and I can actually grip it... but I have to pull the bar a lot higher.

Squats felt terrible on account of yesterday's front squatting. It wasn't until the 3rd set at 225 did things begin to loosen up. Clean/Push Press and Squats later today.

Still managed to pump out 265. That's pretty impressive for not benching. How long has it been since you benched regularly?

Thanks bud. Last time I regularly benched was mid-late 2010.
