Wow - paused fronties - means bar is pressuring the wrists longer - I always do them as fast as possible to get that damn bar off me lol

Been doing them for 2 months once a week and they put almost 25kg on my 1rm in that period of time! Cant argue with results, the pain - we learn to love =)

(Actually my wrists feel a ton better now than ever when frontsquatting, flexibility have built up over time.)

Yes I would think so. This saturday I pulled 260kg using no belt and a hook grip. My best pull ever was 270kg using a belt and straps. Might ofcourse be other factors involced too but things are definitely moving up, fronties are painfull especially paused but well worth it.

I'm thinking fronties should be a staple in almost everyones routine, like rows. I'm just now getting back into them after a scare last Spring with my old crappy bar that was bent and choked me while doing them, as I almost passed out after the set. Funny thing was is that I didn't notice the problem while doing the reps.

I know that, happens very fast and then the curtain drops. Happend to me on a push press once =)

I think as you get more flexible, you can prevent it.
