Thanks hunter but I can not really se the benefit of the shrugs as an assistance lift, a couple of years ago I hammered them real hard and ended up shruging somewere around 900lbs for a triple, did nothing for my deadlift over that period except putting stress on my back that held me back from deadlifting often enough and making me more prone to injury=)

Makes sense. I have no idea if its carrying over to my deads or not to be honest! But I know for a fact they're making my traps jump the hell up off my body! I don't really feel any low back work though, just upper and traps. I'm also not shrugging 900lbs either

Notes: Did not eat or sleep enough last night so feeling like shit today. Went anyway to do some rehab for the quad, and get some bicep work in.

Horizontal leg press
9 sets of 20, light to moderate weight.

Curls
