22/9 - Squats, deadlifts and some events

Notes: Got some lower back pain, but only outside the gym. Good training today again, but I was shit-weak on the events.. More days a week maybe? Need to get into shape for the comp 13/10 and this wont cut it! Adding sprints and more event training the 2 next weeks.

Did Zombie squats and I want to send a boatload of respect over to big Tony G who maxes above 400 on those. Its one humbling ****er thats for sure. And also possibly the best core exersise Ive ever done...

Front squat (oly grip)
1x125kg
1x125kg

1x125kg

Zombie squat
5x60kg
5x70kg
5x80kg

High Rack Pulls
2x140kg
2x180kg
2x220kg
2x260kg
*Im going to work with carrying stones the whole day tomorrow so did not want to go superheavy on those. Good set at 260




Sumo Speed Deadlift
3x100kg
3x140kg
3x160kg

Farmers Walk
2x20m / 100kg bags. Sucked ass today, around 10s each run.

Stone loading
6 lifts increasing height with a light stone (105kg) up to 165cm(?)

Dark, raining and one helluva slippery stone!


Sack loading (100kg loose wet sand bag)
3 lifts to 110cm
*It was kind of like trying to carry a dolphin covered in oil.



Curls for the girls
Hammers - 8x21kg, 8x26.5kg, 5x31kg, 3x36kg
Walking the rack db curl 21, 16, 11, 5kg each to failure
Reverse curl 3x8x30kg
Seated DB - 11kgx1:00min

Yes definitely, or even heavy. I really like the feeling of the movement and it will let me practice staying more upright during squats, witch is exactly what I need!
