17 days and counting...

Saw Mick yesterday morning for legs (only 1 more leg day until the show!) and he seemed happy with where I'm at! I weighed in at 154lbs (same as last week) but look much better than I did a week ago! My ab muscles are starting to thicken up! That's my serious lagging body part but hopefully I have made a significant difference in them! Energy levels have been in the basement but we still pushed thru this workout!

Lying Leg Curls
5 sets of 15 reps (60, 80, 90, 100, 100, 110)

superset with

BB Stiff Leg Deads
5 sets of 12-15 reps (95, 145, 175, 175, 175)

Single Leg Pistol Squats
3 sets of 12 on each leg (BW, BW, BW)

Sissy Squats
4 sets of 20 reps (BW, BW, BW, BW)

Finally...
BB Squats
5 sets of 15 reps (135, 185, 185, 185, 185)

Superset with

Leg Extension with 2 sec pause
1 set of 15 reps (30)
4 drop sets of max reps (60, 45, 30 for 4 sets)

Weights were lighter for the squats but hitting the sissy squats first toasted my legs for the real deal. Good and sore today and excited to see the seperation that has hopefully increased!!!

With the diet...

We are doing a couple of no carb rotations now to try and chip away a remaining bodyfat. Probably getting 3 rotations in of 3 days no carbs and 1 day carb up (100grams). I'm excited for this, even tho it's going to be torture, because before my last show I did this thru a couple times and I looked night and day different. Can't wait to see what happens this time!!! Cardio is at 6 days a week 40 mins doubles! Burning MACHINE!!!!

So I have been sleeping as much as possible... with only 12 days until the show it's the best thing for me. Keeps me from wanting to eat absolutely everything in sight too! I'm absolutely starving at all times of the day. Did 1 full rotation of the no carbs and am on rotation #2 now... the desired effect is def happening!!! Looking better every day! Got up early today and did some fasted 45 mins of cardio... I've had 4 of my 5 meals and am about to go back to the gym to really rough up my shoulders and hit another 45 mins of cardio... calorie intake is about 700kcals... yup that's it... and cardio alone I'm burning about 1000kcals... I'm tired and exactly where I should be

So, I am updating about yesterdays workout! Hit back in a different kind of way this week. Pretty good volume with moderate weights. Not going crazy... the last thing I need is to hurt myself 10 days out!

Close Grip Lat Pulldown
3 sets of 15 reps (70, 100, 100)

Wide Grip Lat Pulldown
4 sets of 12 reps (70, 80, 90, 100)

Smith Machine Bent over Rows
5 sets of 10 reps (overhand) (135, 135, 135, 135, 135)

Smith Machine Bent Over Rows
5 sets of 10 reps (underhand) (145, 145, 145, 145, 145)

1 sets of hyperextensions for 20 reps

Finished it off with some abs and 45 mins of cardio!

In 30 mins I'm off to hit arms this week and my cardio! 10 days!!!
