I should be fine. I have to go out of town Monday evening so I will not be back to squatting or DL until Thursday, so plenty of time to heal up.

Thanks for asking. I am feeling pretty good. Gonna get in some bench work in a bit and then head of to the retreat. Will get back on Wednesday Afternoon. By Thursday's workout, my legs will have had about a week to rest up,so I should be good to go. It is tough getting older.

This past week was lost. I was away Monday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon wit no gym available. Thursday and Friday I had great intentions, but ended up spending both days active in ministry and found no time to hit the gym. So, yesterday I was able to pull off a fullbody session, OHP, Front Squats, Bench, Kroc Rows and Calf Raises. I will re-do Week 2 of BIG starting tomorrow, unless the impending Ice Storm wreaks havoc on my schedule.

I have cut back on my online time, so I may not log as frequently. I haven't decided.

Default 3/12/14 Dog House Training

I am having to return to basics. As I mentioned previously, life has just consumed, so I have reworked my schedule, reexamined my plans and goals and moved back to the Dog House from the Church gym. I have changed sessions from MTTF to MWFS which will help with conflicts as Wed. and Friday are my lightest days due to study and off time. I am still thinking through my game plan going forward. I really wanted to give BIG a go but between the conflicts, joint pain and overall malaise I was finding while running the plan, I am, as I said earlier, returning to my comfort zone. This will entail one or two heavy days a week and lots of reps on the other days. An immediate goal of mine is to find someone to help me with my bench press. It is my weakest lift and causes the most pain and discomfort. I know it is a form issue, but I can not peg exactly what and I am not convinced a video will help much, so I am seeking someone local that might be able to help. I need to message 1morerep to see if he might help, being as he is fairly local (other side of the tunnel).

Except for the shoulder pain when benching and my incredibly stupid idea of trying Smith Machine Floor Presses, this day went well. As I write, 3/13, I am feeling light DOMS, mostly in Lats, but still lets me know I did do something yesterday.
