I gotta pipe up a little bit here.

It's never easy to come back from injury/time off and be considerably weaker/out of shape than before. I know for me, it did bring out the worst in my personality for a little while. I don't know the particulars of why Shadow took time off, I know in my example it was a really bad hamstring injury. I know I've banged on about it enough on this forum but basically it was hard to handle, mentally. When I started logging again the normally well received comments about my strength, or advice was hard to take. 'I know better' was the overall mentality and that is only bolstered by the insecurity you feel when you're 'down'.

You see when things are going well you can take advice because you're secure enough in yourself to do so or you can laugh them off easily, when you're starting from the bottom especially when you've been at the top (in your eyes) these things do bring out those pangs of insecurity and it's not easy to see that what people are saying is actually to help/be supportive rather than to point and laugh.

Just bear in mind Shadow you can't expect people to walk on egg shells around you. Bottom line is that people post in your log to show support, perhaps the words don't always mean what you'd expect but they generally mean well. From what I know of Ltl he's a good bloke, take it as such.

Pretty good. Haven't skipped a beat, just haven't been logging on here. I've got it all written down though. Bench is back to 185x3x8. Leg press is going to be 4pps tonight for sets of 5 or 8 depending on how I feel about the increase. Deadlifts are going slower than I'd like, but its getting there. Lower back is getting burned out pretty quickly, but not in a problematic sense.

Taking it sort of slow, but not playing with my dick either.

Been dealing with a hand injury but it doesn't really effect me much. Gave me a reason to pull the straps out of the gym bag. That's healing up so I should be good to go. I'll still probably use the straps for now till all is well again.

Well, training and not logging is always preferable to not training or logging. I'm up to my eyeballs in bits of paper with my sessions written all over the place; I really have to get that sorted out tomorrow.

What happened to the hand?
