Thanks T-Bone. I made my own adjustable dumbbell out of all-thread and an old rubber grip. I can pile a LOT of weight on that puppy.

I will have to try that with the squats.

Thanks Swede. The sled and prowler are my new addictions. I swear I've found new strength and growth in my legs from doing them. Plus it's a bonus when the UPS guy, gas delivery guy, neighbors, postman, etc, stop to watch me do them in the front driveway. It helps to have a driveway that's about 70 yards long

3/5/1 - Cycle 2 - Week 2

Trap Bar Deadlift
160 lbs x 5
200 lbs x 5
240 lbs x 5
260 lbs x 5
300 lbs x 5
340 lbs x 5 easy reps

Doing required reps only this week

Squats (14" Box)
200 lbs x 10
200 lbs x 10
200 lbs x 10
200 lbs x 10
200 lbs x 10

Stiff-legged Deadlift
185 lbs x 5
225 lbs x 5
315 lbs x 5
335 lbs x 5
355 lbs x 5

Sled Pulling
175 lbs x 40 yards
175 lbs x 40 yards
175 lbs x 40 yards
175 lbs x 40 yards
175 lbs x 40 yards

Notes:
Conditioning is feeling great and recovery seems to be holding up very well. The TBDL felt rediculously light, but stuck to the plan of required reps only. I didn't have a lot op pop left when I got to the sled pulls so I just used a light sled for several pulls. I really focussed on leading with the heels and working the ham/glute area. Very happy with the effort today.

Just spotted this.

That's interesting, it's never occurred to me to do rows like that. I have a real problem with grip on all rowing movements - I might have a go with multiple sets of doubles.

Huge weight.

Also: those stiff-legged deadlifts are looking beefy.

I thought the same thing. I now hate dumbbell rows about 5 reps.
