Stalling on any lift is a pain in the arse, especially one you've been killing for a long time. BtB will set you right here with his deadlift expertise. There could be a host of things causing the problem but stick at it and one day, things will go gloriously right and it will all go great from there.

Good strong sessions Big Josh. Can't wait to see what you can do when you're feeling snappy. I'll be checking in more and cheering you on.

Default 1/12/12

Squats
285x6,5
"walkout" 375 15-20 seconds x2
(squat)285x5

Bench
275x5,5,4

DB rows
100x8,8,8

DB lateral raise
27.5x8,8,6

CGBP
200x8,8,5

DB Shrugs
110 x8,8,8

RC Standing Supported something or anothers 17.5 x10,10,10

Overall Workout Grade: B+

Notes:
Squats went well. Was able to do 2 more reps on my final set. Can't ask for much more than that.
Before my last set I did 2 walkouts at 375lbs. This was something recommended to me by BendtheBar. Walkouts really isn't an accurate name for this "exercise" because it's more of a shuffle out. I was surprised by how heavy it felt. Heavy as hell would be an accurate description. Really felt it in my core/abs. My last squat set wasn't necessarily easy, but the walkouts made the weight seem less taxing on my core and made the movement feel smoother throughout the ROM. I found the experience very interesting.

Bench felt good. Bumped it up 5lbs from my last workout. Everything felt smooth except the last rep on the last set. I hit a big fat sticking point. Good thing I took the time to get a spotter. I'm noticing that I feel more constant/steady/smooth power or push throught the ROM. I attribute this to the DE work.

DB rows are back on par. No straps, hit all reps. They may be another stuck lift, not sure yet.

Lateral Raises and CGBP showed no progress from last workout. Maybe I'll eek out some progress next time.

Threw in some shrugs because why the heck not and finished with some RC work.

Yep, I tried it too! It is definitly a shuffle out. LOL!

I sense a renewed confidence in your bench again (which is flat out your best lift imo). I think the dynamic stuff is helping if for no other reason than you think it is helping. The mind is a powerful thing.

That, and I need to figure out how to incorporate some dynamic benching.

Good job buddy!

Thanks Mike.
I'm happy my bench is starting to come back up. However, I peaked at 295x3 and I really want to get back there and then on to 315.
Yes I do think the dynamic stuff is working, but like you said, whether it is really having a direct impact or not, I I think it is doing something, which helps me under the bar.
Did you feel like you were going to die when you did walkouts? I saw my life flash before my eyes!
If you want to incorporate DE bench, the guys here at MaB can help you out.

Walkouts will help your CNS improve and soon you won't feel like you're dying.

Wait, are you suggesting I do them again!
Just kidding.
What you are saying makes sense and I'll continue to throw them in to my routine. I look forward to see how they feel as I adapt.
Thanks LtL
