You seem to use the box like I do; just to keep form and judge depth.

That sled workout was brilliant, I love doing all those different movements with mine too. Have you ever done pull-throughs with your sled (can't remember), they are my favorite all time sled movement.

Nice start to your new routine. Hope to see some events stuff, find a way to sneak them in

Thanks offroad!

Sometimes I do "box squats" they just do not do much for me. I prefer free squats, will be sticking with them after a few weeks

I have messed around with pull throughs with the sled, they are very good.

Tuesday light conditioning

Sled runs on pavement
*all about 30 yards
Plus 25 x 3
Plus 45 x 2 sets of 5
Only rest was the walk back to the start. I also mention pavement because it is so much easier.

That is it, I have some tightness all over today, feeling great.

Wednesday Quick Crossfit workout
Just keeping some variety in my off days so I do not go to the gym and lift heavy. Tomorrow is a lifting day!!

5 rounds total
2 rounds then rest, finished with 3 more rounds

Hang Cleans
95 x 10

Sledge Swings
14 swings

Pull Ups
Bw x 5

Super light, just wanted to get some blood flowing and loosen everything up. I do not want to do too much sled work, this was probably easier

Thursday Excellent Day!!
Still no deadlifts, however I am feeling great. Most likely still no strongman this weekend, I have a fishing trip Saturday, might hit something light.

Yoke Bar Split Squats
90 x 6 sets x 6 reps
Limited rest between sets, my legs blew up

Standing OHP
95 x 2 x 5
120 x 4 x 10
120 x 12
These felt good too

Pull Ups
BW x 6 sets x 6 reps

Fat Grip Pushdowns
150 x 3 x 20

Hammer Curls
25s x 3 x 15

Olympic Squat Practice
ATG x just the bar x a few sets of 8 reps
*these felt amazing, I was hitting depth easily and I felt I was in good position. I did elevate my heels.

I am hoping that I can continue to work on olympic squats. Next week, I am going to do them first probably with just 95 pounds or so. These felt much more natural. I just need to teach myself to sit down, rather than hips back. Overall, very happy with this session!
