Saturday strongman
Snowing out today, but trained anyways. Today was light and fast.

Farmers
120s x 2 x60-80 feet
160s x 2 x 60-80
210s x 1 x 60 ft
160s x 2 x 60-80 ft
This was supposed to be 50% of my max, 160 is a little higher. Really pushed for speed

Had to go inside, snow turned to rain no good

Speed zerchers
135 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 3
Lowered the bar
135 x 3
225 x 4 x 3
I think these use the same muscles as stones. Thought it was a good choice

I should have gone to the gym, but it was too late. I am fighting a cold, I really got worn down last week from being crazy busy and not getting enough sleep. Time to recover, rep squats on monday

Sunday quick session
Did a little extra upper body work. I have a cold and I like to train for some reason when I feel like this

OHP
95 x 2 x 8
95 x 15
Pumps

Bb curls
Bar x 2 x 20
65 x 2 x 10
75 x 2 x 10

Pushdowns
6 sets of 12-15 reps

Hammer curls
2 x 10

Band Pushdowns
2 x 20

Just e ought to get warmed up and pumped up. Made me feel a little better. I am attacking this cold

Monday jwood is sick
I trained today but it was a bad idea. When I got done I felt like death, called out of work tomorrow, planning to sleep all day.

Yoke bar box squats with soft pad
90 x 2 x 5
180 x 2 x 3
230 x 3
280 x 3
340 x 8
The goal was 8 and I hit it, happy with this for how sick I feel

DB lunges
55s x 3 x 8

Quad extensions
150 x 3 x 20
It has been years since I did these, but josh thigpen thinks they help, good enough for me

Reverse hypers
2 plates x 3 x 10-15

That is it, needed to go home. Felt terrible, going to sleep shortly. I think my body got run down from a weekend of drinking last weekend, then a stressful week of work, training and looking for a house. Too much going on right now

Wednesday OHP
Starting to feel better, but I did not want to push it too hard. So I did speed work instead of max effort. I will get on track next cycle. No big deal

Dynamic OHP
105 x 8 sets x 3 reps -30 seconds rest
Explosive as possible

Dips
BW x 2 x 10
Plus mini x 5 sets x 8 reps
As explosive as possible, paused at bottom

Pull ups
BW x 6 or 7 sets x 5-6 reps
Just to get the back pumping

Band Pushdown
Average x 3 x 20

Lateral raise
20s x 3 x 10
