Wednesday New Squat Cycle
Felt pretty good today, my lower back is really sore. The keg work was a little tougher on my back yesterday than I thought.

Squats
145x2x5

250x4
290x3

Pause Squats

these felt great

Rack Pulls
185x5

These were set at the most awkward height for me. Plates are probably only 3 inches off floor, bar lower on my shin.

Good Mornings

Lower back was hurting

Assistance Circuit
100lb KB swing x 3x15
Split Legged Squats BW 3x 12 each leg
Abs on GHR 3x15
Shrugs 100s x 3 x 20

This circuit was pretty brutal. I think it mostly just gave me some nasty pumps should not cause too much soreness. I am going to OHP tomorrow and then deadlift on Friday. I am busy saturday, so I can not train. Should be hitting strongman on Sunday too. Feeling good so far.

Good training session. Going to do DE squats tomorrow and some pulls. Probably going to have to work through some soreness. Felt pretty strong today on OHP.

Checked by BW today, it was around 214, I thought it would be higher, but I am ok with this. Looking to get to right around 220 and stay there for a long time.

Friday DE Squats and Deads
Still sore today, from squatting on wednesday. Trained through the soreness, but not a great session.

DE Squats

Speed was just not too great today. Legs felt tired.

Deficit Deads
*all sets plus chains, unsure of weight, about 60 lbs

These felt terrible, hips were very sore tough to get down to the bar. I will consider these DE deads

Prowler Runs
140x5
160x2x5
each rep is back and forth accross the gym. The prowler is brutal.

tomorrow I am heading to the mountains to get our hunting camp ready for next week. Going to do some strongman on sunday, hoping to do some yoke. Tomorrow should be a good recover day.
