Solid Off Day Training Session!!
Felt like going heavy today, so I did, love it!

Hang Cleans
135x2x5
155x3
185x3
205x2x3
Added straps here
205x3
215x3
225x3x3
Awesome! Not very happy with my grip strength on these but I will fix that. I was using my new Rogue Beater Bar, it is slightly thicker and the knurling is not as aggressive. Therefore my grip has to get stronger!

Reverse Grip Hang Cleans
135x3x5

Decline Sit Ups
3x15

Light OHP
switched back and forth between in front and behind the neck
3 x 20 just the bar, wanted to flush out my shoulders

Really fun workout, just went into my basement and crushed it for an hour or so, probably less. Short rest periods, just doing whatever I want to do!

Tomorrow is deads

Wednesday Deadlifts
Juggernaut is starting to wear on me, I am not sure I like all of these high reps. It is a brutal program, and we will see how it affects my maxes.

Deadlifts
315x4x8
315x10 or 11, lost count

Safety Bar Squats off low box
180x5
270x3
320x3, struggled with these
270x3x3

GHRs
BW x 4 x 10-15

ABs on GHR
bw x 4 x 20

That is it quick workout, I did what I needed to do and got out of there. The deadlifts really wore me down fast, had to do some shopping too tonight. Military Press tomorrow.

Given any thought to moving on in the near future or are you going to ride it out a bit longer?

If I am reading that correctly you did 5 sets of deadlifts at 8 or more reps. That's intense work.

Correct I did 5 sets of deadlifts, the first four sets were 8 reps and then the final set was 10 or 11 reps, lost count. My last set on the jug method is not quite to failure, but only leaving one or two in the tank.

I am going to ride it out for a little bit. My girlfriend just graduated from nursing school, so waiting on her to get a job also. She should make a lot of money!! Haha,

We both have a lot of loans right now from school, so might be riding it out for another year or so. Not really sure, just going with the flow for now

More awesome off day training!!
I believe I have trained pretty heavy for almost 2 weeks straight, and my body is loving it. today was mostly body weight stuff, which is great to add volume and loosen everything up. Still a tough workout

Superset:

Dips
BW x 5 sets x 20 reps
w/

Pull Ups
5 sets x 10 reps
Focused on complete reps here

BB Curls
65x20
85x2x12
w/

Average band Push Downs
3 x 20

Inverted Rows
BW x 4 sets x 15-20 reps

Light Cable pushdowns
60 x 4 x 15, very light

Felt awesome, joints are feeling very good, tomorrow will be my squat day and then who knows what will happen on sunday!!! Possible strongman, maybe more squatting.

***Another note on the home gym
-tomorrow I am going to pick up 685 pounds of plates, found them used for a good deal. Getting them tomorrow afternoon, now I just have to pick up some mats and I am good to go!!

I really like just doing what I feel like doing in the gym. Gonna ride out juggernaut for the full cycle, high reps are just not that fun anymore. Haha, still a great program though.

Saturday Squats
weights felt heavy on squats, but I crushed some deficit deads!

Squats
135x2x5
225x3
260x3
295x3
315x2x8
315x10
These were very tough, hips were tight.

Deficit Deads, standing on 6 mats
135x3
225x3
315x2
365x1
405x1
455x1 PR
My feet were rubbing up against the bar, quite a deficit. Tough to get down there. but 455 felt pretty awesome!! Sumos are helping.

Yoke Bar Gms
90x 3 x 15

back extensions
bw x3 x 20

Hammer Curls
40s x 2 x 10

After deficit deads, I did not want to do anything. These will kick your ass, I highly suggest them.

Probably will do a quick workout tomorrow. Going to pick up my weights today, 685 pounds, this will bring my total up to almost 1000 pounds in the basement!
