Wednesday Had to try the Farmers Handles
Decided to skip basketball tonight, since I got my new farmers handles yesterday. Might have gone a little too heavy for the first time out, but hey whatever.

Farmers Walks
Warm up
moving all my plates from my basement outside as fast as possible, good workout
Just handles 70lbs each x 2 x 30-40 yards
160 each hand x 2 x 30-40 yards
250 each hand x 2 x 35 yards wow!
160x 2 x 40 yards each, done very fast, only about 15 seconds rest

This was a lot of fun, although my body is kinda feeling it right now. I think this killed all the stabilizer muscles in my legs, I think farmers are key for me. They hit my weaknesses and build confidence. 500 was an easy pick and then felt good with them. Need to measure out my distance, but I am not really sure how far I should go.

If the weather is nice this weekend I plan to do some medlys with tire and farmers! This was a lot of fun, traps are gonna feel it tomorrow. I think this will really help my deads.

Nice work. I'm gonna start doing some more farmers walks now the weather is getting better. Should improve upper back and GPP.

We use to play with some tire flips. We would do 30seconds on, 30 seconds off in two man teams. I couldnt imagine doing it with farmers walks before hand!

Thursday ME Bench
Thanks for the comments guys! Farmers walks gave me some serious soreness in my upper back traps and my legs. Maybe a little too much for the first time out in a while. Still had a really good bench workout.

Close Grip Bench
135x2x5
185x3
225x3
255x2
275x1
295x1
315x1
325x1 Close Grip PR!
295x3 awesome, probably a PR
These felt good and I could have gone heavier. Really need a lift off for these. I need a good training partner!

Standing BTN Press
95x8
135x5
155x5 PR
135x5
95x8 Died here
Felt very strong on these today, weird

Bent Over Rows
135x12
225x3x8
Lower back was not feeling these today.

Tricep Pushdown Fat Grip
70 x 15
95x 2 x 12
70x 15-20

Lateral Raise
10s x 2 x 15

That is it. Focused more today on my main lift. I think this is a much better idea. I am gonna have to really hit back work on my speed days. My lower back gets fatigued from arching hard. Does not go well with rows.

Overall really good training session today!

Friday Night, not a very smart workout
I was pretty sore today and my stomach felt off today. My shoulders were sore but for some reason I decided to do log work. I think because it was very nice out

Log Clean and Press
105x2x3
145x3
165x1
195x1
215x1
225x1
240x Miss x 2, got the clean but could not press. Used too much energy on the clean
-i need to start doing more reps on the log. My max is going no where, but I never do log when I am feeling optimal. It is always after tire work or when i do not know what else to do. Need practice.

Pull Ups
BW x a bunch of sets x 7-10 reps
No idea how many sets

Yates Rows
135x a few sets x 135
Just wanted to get some blood flowing

Log work today was not a good idea. I just did not feel right and I was sore. I am going to start doing reps on the log. I want to hit sets of 5 with 195. Not a full clean but more of a hang clean I think. Might hit them again sunday, probably just light.

How is the log work in general? Is it fairly taxing or something you can do more frequently without issues?
