I see I am hoping I can get to that point. Maybe just pop a caffeine pill before workouts and see how that helps. I think it is just the mental boost of taking something.

That looked like a fun deload workout.

As far as pre-workout supps go, I have never tried them. I find I have the best sessions when I am calm and focussed. Hyping up burns too much energy. Plus I am also of the belief that using stims can lead you down the road of overtraining faster than without them.

Thursday Final Deload Workout today

Speed Bench Press
**all sets plus monster mini bands
135x2x5
185x8 sets x 3 reps
Kinda lost track of sets, may have been 9

BTN Strict Press
95x15
115x10
125x2x8
95x12

Seated Cable Row
180x15
225x12
270x2x6
225x8
180x12

Fat Grip Tricep Push Down
150x15
190x12
200x3x12

Face Pulls
90x3 x 15

Felt pretty good today. Felt calm and focused on the bench. Some sets were better than others. Just due to not getting set up correctly. Took less than 1/2 scoop of k-otic today. It worked, gave me a little mental boost. I think I needed just a tad more. Going to stick with around 1/2 scoop or just over 1/2 scoop for the time being. Just gonna roll with that and see what happens.

The job is going pretty well. It is very busy and I am working hard. Any job where you deal with customers on a regular basis there will be rough days. Some days can be a lot worse than others. I think I am doing pretty well with it, but I am still hoping I can move into a position where I am out of the office. Cubicles are just not for me.

Overall the job is good.Cant complain

Saturday Solid Workout.
I did some experimenting with my shoes and I have decided I do like the heeled shoes better for squatting. But for deads, the chucks are the way to go. I feel less stress on my hips when I squat in shoes with a slight heel. Any ways here is my workout:

Squats
Warm ups sets up to:
355x7 sets of 3 reps

Deficit Deadlifts
*3 mats, so around 3 inches or so of deficit
135x3
225x1
315x1
405x1
455x2 singles
495x1
My plan was to stop at 455 for 3 singles, but I was encouraged to go heavier by some peer pressure. Felt good, pretty easy. 455 flew up.

Beck Extensions
doubled mini x 15
doubled mini plus 25 lbs x 2x 15

Abs on GHR
3 x 20

DB Shrugs
100s x 50, 30, 30

Felt good today. I need to start doing more prep work again. I was very good with it when I started juggernaut but I have gotten lazy. I will start doing more again. I need to get back to doing hip flexibility stuff before squats and on off days also.

Overall, felt very good today. Did 3 sets of 455 in chucks and the other 4 sets in my adidas shoes with a little heel. I am favoring the adidas shoes right now. It is easier for me to hit depth and sit back.
