Time to get this log going again, Purus labs log is finished now. Everyone should check out the final review.

Currently, I have 3 more weeks left on my current training cycle then I will be making some minor tweaks and start another cycle. I think I have my training figured out for a while, hoping to keep the momentum going. Anyway, I will bring things back with a conditioning workout.

Ladder drills
Various drills for about 40 minutes

Took a break, mowed some lawn.

Ladder Drills
Another 20 minutes worth of drills

A couple notes, I usually draw out my ladder with 10 blocks, today was 15. Really takes it to another level. Also, did some sprints mixed in. I would go through a ladder drill and at the end take off on a 10 yard sprint. Just to work on changing direction and acceleration.

Fun workout, tomorrow is going to be lighter strongman. Going to set up some medleys, should be brutal

Yeah, Mr. Wood is back in here where he belongs. Like the ladder work, I bought a ladder for my son to use. The bricks would definitely make you raise your feet a bit more and really force you to hit the open space or trips may happen. Ladder with consequences.

I completely agree the actual ladder is tougher, but I am saving for other equipment first.

Maybe I will start going to the gym to use their ladder.

Saturday strongman conditioning aka crossfit for men
Haha, just kidding. This workout was just brutal, lots of dry heaving. Humid here, just made this more nasty. Overall happy with my level of conditioning.

Strongman medley x 6 rounds

Farmers carry
120 each hand x 100 ft with turn at 50 ft

Tire flip
5 flips

Keg carry
100 ft with turn at 50 ft

Rest was as long as needed, basically once I was physically able to go again I did. Kinda kept a timer on this but it is not exact. First 5 sets were about 1:25 to 1:35. Last set I went all out and got the time to about 1:15 then I almost died.

Circus DB
60 x 1 each arm
80 x 1 each arm
110 x 1 each arm

That's it, body is beat. Getting dizzy time to rehydrate and eat. Then a cold shower. Feeling awesome!

Sunday quick conditioning
Body was a little sore still doing a lot of moving in. Not getting enough water. It's all good, once I am permanently in my new place diet will get a little cleaner.

Sled sprints
Plus 25 x 4 x 25 yards

Straight sprints
4 x 40 yards

Suicides
4 rounds
8 yards and back, 15 yards and back, 25 yard finish
Brutal, been a while for these

2 light sprints to finish up.

Time to get some good nutrition tonight and prep for the week ahead. Final mini cycle of this training cycle. Looking to finish strong.
