Felt great, going to rethink my routine this weekend. I am thinking right now it will be essentially the same, but separating my upper and lower days. Monday bench, Wednesday squat and dead, Thursday OHP, Saturday strongman.

For strongman, I need to improve focus on pressing and Deadlifts. Those are my weaknesses, and events a big weakness haha

A little both, I like to do two pressing days. Also, I think I am better served to do my lower body work on Wednesday, so my legs are recovered by Saturday for events. I think strongman was going best for me when I was doing that. I need fresh legs for events.

This won't really be more training, just separated training. I will still use all the same cycles for primary lifts, just one more day. I think 4 days of weights is my sweet spot.

Saturday strongman!
Felt great today, all jacked up. Finally getting to some decent weights.

Farmers walk
*all sets about 50-60 ft
70 each hand x 2
120 each hand x 2
160 each hand x 1
180 x 1
210 each hand x 3 sets
These felt great, pick was easy. Plan is to move up slowly each week, kinda linear periodic action until I get back where I was.

Log clean and press
105 x 5
145 x 3 sets x 10 reps
This was brutal, going to kinda run juggernaut on log. High reps with the log kills me, but I think they will help a lot.

Called it a day there, very hot out. Uncle stopped by so I started to stiffen up. Was planning to do some heavy sled to finish up, but not today.

Happy to be back.

That is almost the exact schedule I like the best too. I like; Bench on Monday, Squat on Tuesday, Press on Thursday, and Prowler Hell on Friday.
